Regular Plaster

The classic, budget-friendly choice. Provides a smooth, white finish that typically lasts 7-10 years.

StoneScapes® (Mini/Micro Pebble)

Our most popular premium finish from SCP. These tumbled pebbles create a slip-resistant, stain-resistant surface that lasts 15-20+ years. This finish offers the highest ROI for your home.

Hydrazzo

The ultimate in luxury. A polished marble finish that feels like smooth silk on your feet. Ideal for high-end Beverly Hills and Newport Beach estates.

Beyond Plaster: Luxury Pool Renovations & Upgrades

While our pool replastering cost calculator provides a baseline for your surface, a true backyard transformation often includes structural and style upgrades. From energy-efficient Pentair pumps to custom LED lighting and waterfalls, Emerald Plaster manages full-scale renovations across Los Angeles and Orange County. If your project involves more than just a new finish, our on-site consultation will provide a comprehensive quote for these advanced features.

Waterline Tile & NPT® Glass Mosaics

Waterline tile is the ‘frame’ for your new pool finish. We specialize in professional tiling using premium NPT® glass mosaics, classic ceramic, and natural stone. Replacing your tile while the pool is drained for its StoneScapes® or QuartzScapes® finish ensures a watertight seal and a modern look. Our Southern California installations are engineered to withstand salt-air and heavy sunlight, ensuring your ‘new pool’ look lasts for decades.

Why LA & OC Homeowners Choose Emerald Plaster

What sets Emerald Plaster apart is our C-53 Licensed expertise. Unlike ‘trunk-slammer’ contractors, we provide a structured, transparent process for every Orange County pool renovation. Every project starts with a clear plan of action and ends with a pool that meets the highest California building codes. We treat your property with respect, ensuring your renovation is as stress-free as the retreat you’re creating.

FAQs

How do I measure my pool for an accurate estimate?

To get the most accurate result from our calculator, you need to measure the Perimeter of your pool. Take a measuring tape and measure the total distance all the way around the edge of the water (where the tile meets the deck). This linear footage allows us to calculate the total surface area of the pool walls and floor.

Is this estimate a final price?

No, this is a preliminary budgeting tool. A final, fixed-price quote requires an on-site inspection where we evaluate your pool’s current shell condition, accessibility, and whether a full "chip-out" is required to secure your material warranty.

Does the estimate include new waterline tile and coping?

This specific tool calculates the cost for resurfacing (plastering) only. We highly recommend replacing tile and coping at the same time as replastering for a seamless seal. We can provide a separate estimate for masonry during your consultation.

Why is there a "Low" and "High" price range?

The range accounts for variations in pool depth and specific color pigments within the material lines (for example, some StoneScapes colors like 'Midnight Blue' cost more than 'Salt & Pepper' due to the raw pigment costs).
